International Students Admission Process

Apply online

Students logon admission.cyu.edu.cn ,and fill in the application information.

Admission

School will mail out the admission package within 2 weeks.

Visa and Tickets

Apply for visa at students’ home country and book air tickets

Airport Pick-up

Inform the school of the ticket info of the incoming students

Check-in Dormitory

Need to pay 1000 RMB deposit to the dormitory

Registration

Need to submit passport, 202 form, and Admission Letter, and remaining application documents; Pay tuition and fees.

Open bank account

School will take students to Bank of China to open account.

Placement Test

Pick up the according class schedule and textbooks.

Health Examination

School will take students who hold X visa to the health check center and apply for Residence Permit.

10

Orientation Week

Tour campus and buy supplies. Explain academic requirements. Classes organize ice-breaking activities.

 

Checklist of Application Documents

Language students:

*  Certificate and transcripts of high school

*  A copy of passport or identification card

*  Four recent passport photos, white background, no hat

Degree students

*  Certificate and transcripts of high school

*  A copy of passport or identification card

*  Eight recent passport photos, white background, no hat

*  Chinese or English proficiency tests results, as required by the programs.

Applicants under 18 years old also need these:

Notarized letter of guarantor

a copy of guarantor's passport or ID

Copy of parents’ passports

Birth Certificate
